They started doing this for a reasons. They're out of original ideas so they're just copy and pasting stuff that was good previously then nerfing the old mon. I guarantee that one of the new mons is extremely similar to Rillaboom gameplay wise and thats why they've KWAB'd him.

Remember when Gen 7 came out and everyone was annoyed because hardly any of the new Pokemon were good enough to warrant using competitively? This is their response to that.

Auto-terrains/weather will always have a place in the Meta. Rolla still has good stats and can passively provide solid utility. At worst, it drops to UU. But Grassy Glide is still in the games move data, so it'll probably end ip being a tutor move in future DLC.

Rillaboom didn't lose anything you stupid nigger. It's just that there are no tm/tr/tutor for those moves in SV. Once Home connectivity returns, all those Rillaboom wil roam free in the meta.
