Obviously the intention is that you would keep a Once-in-a-Lifetime Ribbon mon you receive and train that yourself, not give away your own Pokemon in the hope of getting one, but this is really going to DAMAGE every ribbon autist.

HOME saves all your movesets. it doesn't delete them. A pokemon can currently have 3 movesets, it's main moveset, it's BDSP moveset and it's PLA moveset. It retains the data for all three.
