also it didnt learn fly and i remember that really pissed me off when i replayed as charizard for the first time as a kid.
the idea of being able to use a giant assault turtle with cannons on its back as a boat was why i thought blastoise was cool
flying around on a charizard was literally in the anime, yet in-game i was stuck using fearow like some scrub
