been shiny hunting after a while and I'd just want to say it would've been better if the dex wasn't so small. The upside to this is that it will not take forever for shiny charm, maybe only a week of 3 hour grinding, but the bad side of this is trying to find good pokemons to shiny hunt. I have easily gotten almost all of the hisuian pokemon shiny and I am now in a state of boredom as most of the other shinies are either caught in older gen or not that good looking. In conclusion I just want to say that the post game is boring

Definitely my favorite along with HGSS. Aside from some graphical bugs, my main complaints are the lack of Pokémon (I mean, really, no Golisopod, Ninjask, Greninja, Shiftry, Mawile, and many other clearly Japanese Pokémon) and what they did to my boy Typhlosion. But the way one challenges and battles Pokémon and interacts with the world is leagues better than any other Pokémon game that it pretty much ruined all of them for me now.

There are portraits of Maxie and Alder's ancestors in the game so maybe that's hinting at something? B/W are the next games in line for remakes so I can see that happening. A Hoenn game is less likely but I would sell a kidney to have it happen

It's a RPG, so I care about the story.
In my opinion, playing for the gameplay is even worse, considering you basically don't battle at all until the very end of the game, and catching becomes an endless aim and trwoh minigame. May as well call it safari zone sinnoh or something.

Imo PLA does have a decent story (for a pokemon game). Nothing amazing but it has some decent moments. At the very least it's a step up from SwSh.

It baffles me how they couldn't get this right in SV when they were basically reusing the same base mechanics. Like they actually made pokemon follow you around when out of the ball but now you can't throw out more than one anymore.

All the frenzied nobles were causing further conflict between the already divided clans. Most people feared and or didn't understand pokemon, and the few trainers in the region were in no way capable of defeating the Volo or the legendaries. Hence why Arceus sent someone from a future where pokemon and people peacefully coexist so they can unite the region and stop Volo. Presumably the protag from diamond and pearl.

The problem with Legends is that after you complete the dex there is nothing to do but to shiny hunt. It's short but a fun game.
