i've been always a fakemon hater. i've always liked the original designs better bc they were better and felt more pokemon-y. but since last gen, they've dropped the ball really hard, many pokemon don't feel like pokemon anymore and the fakemon are starting to look more pokemony than the oficial pokemon

This is closer to being a motif to "Water type Blaziken" than the actual mon itself. This proves that newer designs can work if done right. Had this been what the final evo looked like, I wouldn't regret evolving Quaxly.

Making the paws dark like the legs looks nice. A small touch that ties the design together well. The arms/wrist area looks much better, too.
