This is off-topic, sort of, but in SwSh, was there ever a good way to get the other box legend? Like how likely were you to find someone who you would trade box legend for box legend, assuming you had a second account and thus an extra one? It kinda sucks this gen, cause there’s no clear better one.

Literally the moment you can ride your bikedragon you can head to the mountains to look for it. Pointless unless you have 4 or so badges though since it spawns around level 35 and won't obey you till then.

Set levels. It's only pointless if you're the kind of person who thinks it's pointless. You're supposed to do things as you discover them in this game, not worry about the order. It's why the game's general progression leads from south to north, but there are a few curveballs thrown in like the Psychic gym leader being in the southwest corner of the map. Explore at your leisure and do things at your leisure, knowing that certain gameplay facets are locked behind each story.

It's still steps. You need to end your picnic to access your box to get eggs since they they sent straight thereu. Hatching is pretty fast though, just took me about 2 minutes or so of the biking

You can get lucky and glitch the game before the first gym and get a lvl 54 dragonair that has electric tera type easily. I thought it was a fluke but I've repeatedly done it in 1.0.0 and 1.0.1 now. Using the left trigger to aim at a pokemon at a different elevation and then right trigger to deploy your mon you can teleport to said elevation, using that I spent about 30 hours just seeing how far I could push it.

Granted those higher level mons won't listen to you but it's still possible.

Come to think of it, if you catch a female disobedient mon, you can just breed them to get an egg and use their child who will obey you no matter what instead. Doesn't need to be female if you have a ditto. That's one way of getting lategame mons usable early.

The game can get really laggy in certain locations, specially in the lake area, it´s awful there. Also there´s a lot of graphical glitches, I really hope they fix some of these problems but I have no faith in gamefreak.

About the multiplayer, it´s know that you can go to another player´s game, if it´s the other version you can catch the exclusivre pokemon there too. Also if you found a shiny you can "steal" it.

You're going to have to go throughout basically the entire map to get the chests but I suppose if you were autistic you could farm out the roaming ones (you're still going to need some roaming ones probably) but that would take literally days on days on days.

It's hard to tell if they respawn or if they just randomly spawn period in a lot of locations. There's locations where I can say with complete faith that you'll find them in the form of the "ten wonders of Paldea" signs and I know for a fact they respawn because I've picked up the one on the very top of the highest mountain like three times but as for the rest of them I'm unsure.

In my autism to get 999 I had cleared out a decent chunk of the map but with the ones that just happen to be on rocks and shit and tucked away cliff sides it's hard to tell if they were ones I had missed, ones that just were spawning in a set "this is a tucked away local there's a chance a GImmighoul will be here", or were simply respawning from there.

Because it's cute, most characters that get focus aren't the type to treat their Pokemon as pets, those characters usually get relegated to "nameless NPC sitting in a house next to their Wingull status". Yeah a bit of a bitch. Go to all the ubisoft towers and ruins you see and search around signs, objects, and peaks and you'll find the smaller ones. Supposedly the chests respawn but I don't think we know what makes them respawn yet. I left the game running all night, quit out, and opened it up again and it didn't make them respawn.

Not really, just battle a bunch of gimmighoul chests. They spawn at ruins and on top of lookout towers/lighthouses

Not sure if they respawn though

you'll be fine to catch it assuming you're playing smart and paralyzing/putting it to sleep, but it wont obey before you get a few badges. and yes, it'll level up slowly, though leveling is hardly a problem in this game.

You cannot max out affection without trying to. iirc someone said the max you can get w/o the picnic crap is 155, just before the threshold to start getting the "I win bc I love u" garbage
So if you wanna avoid that stuff, dont do the sandwich minigame before postgame

The real pain is finding it cause it disguises itself as other Pokemon like Zorua. Register every Pokemon you come across to your dex(Run Away is very useful in this game) and the Ditto will show up as ??? when you focus on it despite having the dex entry for what it transformed into.

Guys the encounter power is no joke. Make a normal encounter power sandwich if you want to hunt chanseys it makes them spawn like crazy, feels like 5x the rate

no. you can catch their normal variants. donphan in specific will respawn after you leave the area and become a regular catchable pokemon.
