Assuming there's no new type before they run out, I feel like fairy/ground is going to be the one they save for last, just because of how great it is.

>hits 8 types super-effectively
>no single type resists both
They're definitely not going to let a normal pairing be the last one, because they know part of the reason people play new pokemon games is for new type combos.

At this rate, ghost/rock. Poison/ice, fairy/ground, fairy/fire and bug/dragon aren't hard at all, and the normal combos just require them saying something has "normal energy" as opposed to being a pure elemental. Hell, normal/steel has an honorary "pokemon" already.

Ghost/rock seems to be the focus of their retardation for whatever reason, a type combo they refuse over and over. But electric/fighting finally got added this gen (as underwhelming as the mon actually is), so there's hope for ghost/rock.

Yes, we shouldn't forget type combos that are borderline unused
>Literally can't use fairy/dragon because no megas
>Steel/fire and Rock/Fighting are Legendary exclusive, so not usuable for the majority of the game
>Bug/ghost is on Shedinja which only has 1 hp, so it's defensive typing is completely irrelevant
>Fire/water is mythical exclusive, so even less accessible than the legendary exclusive typings
