Some of the characters had good designs. Shame they never did anything interesting with them.

Some of the music was great as well. Loved the battle themes for the stadiums, especially with the crowd involvement.

Marnie, Bea and Oleana are top tier.
Dragapult and a couple other mons are among my favorites.
Spikemouth was kinda cool albeit wasted potential.
The wild area theme when the pipes hit is ultra kino.

I think the game actually did start strong before completely shitting itself by the end. I also quite liked Hop and Leon, even if they got way too much screentime. And like any gen there's some good Pokemon designs.

Max Raids had a kickass Draft mechanic and I loved it. I hope it comes back because drafting from a pool of preset pokemon and working as a team through a little dungeon crawl picking up items and berries on the way to a final showdown with a humongous 1% shiny chance on every pokemon is very cool. Definitely the best part of the entire generation.

The games' quality is the shittiest in the series, but I fucking love the artstyle and color scheme it had compared to the dry Western in-game artstyle that SV has. SwSh also had some of my favorite music tracks in the series (Slumbering Weald, Dog themes, Leon's theme, Gym Leader theme). Despite everything I will still unironically miss it.
