I think this is the most even any gens have been. Both have fairly good picks. Once paradoxs are better known I think sales will even out. I'm going Scarlet though cause ungamon are fun.

Paradoxes have all retained an original typing. So, chances are they'll be Water/X and Fighting/Y respectively. Unless Iron Valiant's case of using Gardevoir and Gallade's non-shared typing for itself instead of their shared typin is indicative of fusion treatment, in which case Fighting/Y becomes Grass/Y.

I judge my games if they are targeted more towards boys and girls with the exclusives.
shield was clearly a game targeted for girls.
I also dont believe that they started to do this until gen 3.
