Ceruledge is basically Gallade 2.0 and that guy isn't doing good. Flare Blitz = Close Combat and Shadow Claw is its highest base power Ghost STAB.

Gallade's literally better than Ceruledge in gen 9, it's not even comparable. Sharpness and a rainbow of boosted coverage did a lot to make Gallade better.

80 vs 85 is not marginal, especially on a scarfer.
and yes, higher bulk and 7 additional resistances make a big difference

It's a speed difference of 5 in the 80's. That's about as marginal as it gets in terms of relevant outspeeds. And the bulk difference doesn't matter, it's dying in a single hit anyways.
