I don't really have that issue (yet?). I get constant 30fps, the only issues I have are the exploding textures (I'm OP).
Hope some anon compiles the right ones that should give us better performance and fixes these issues. I think the latest auto built ones don't fix everything.

you should really try to get a second 8gb stick of ram. Look for a 3200MHz sodimm 8gb on amazon or something, it should cost less than the game itself. It should improve everything on your system. Also, look into throttlestop, a nice program for laptops and locket systems, you probably can undervolt the CPU a little to get lower temperatures and reach the same or higher clocks. And look for one of these 30$ fans for laptops or at least try to lift the back a little.

I do have an intel based machine but the internal drive is toast so it has to run off an external. Haven't booted it in a while but performance was pretty soupy last I checked.

Essentially, stay away from macos and iOS if you want to emulate. If emulators get made they are super far behind which is ironic since most of us use macOS as software devs at work. afaik iOS doesn't have a 3DS emulator yet while macOS doesn't have the switch.

It has come back before, but I just restarted Ryujinx to fix it. Enabling then disabling Vsync might (?) do something too.

Don't forget you can just face the camera south when moving north.

Emubros, what are the chances of trading my mons over to a physical switch game?

I wanna play this on my deck down the line (I enjoy having all my games on one place) but I got some compfag friends irl and the mons this gen seems fun for vgc.

Is there any chance i can transfer em to a legit switch or would i need to hack mine?

Ive looked into LDN builds but apparently only Ryujinx can communicate with switch through LAN mode

To update something:
You just git fetch remotename and then git merge the same branchname again. Usually if you keep a fork or branch around long enough it will start acquiring merge conflicts, which is where an ide like visual studio code can come in really handy because you can look at a nice interface when deciding whether or not to accept changes or edit the code etc and it will also tell you when you try and merge something again and you are already up to date.

If the merge conflict is really severe this is where headaches start arising because you may need to update the code and deciding what version of the code to use and where to combine it is easier if you have some programming knowledge.

protip on github if you look at the files tab of a pull request on github green = lines added and red = lines deleted.

it's usually safe to take their changed lines if your current base codelines are the same as whatever is in the master branch on github and these changes will usually go through automatically, so long as you are keeping your branch ahead of the master. However when you have other pull requests changing the same bit, you may need to take lines from both or actually look and see if other parts of the code have changed.

to avoid ending up with basic mistakes when git merging.
you can run

dotnet clean
and
dotnet test

if any of the test fail, then you might have made a basic mistake

You can probably just use sysbot when pkhex updates. Sysbot is a thing that runs on a hacked switch and it's usually connected up to a discord bot which lets people upload their pokemon as pkm files and it trades what you upload to you.

LAN mode iirc is something that ryujinx can use that can let you trade between a legit switch and a emulated version but this can be finnicky to get working and not every game supports it.

Finally if you have a hacked switch you can literally copy and paste your save file over.

So emubros, based on what you've played, are you going to buy it?

So far, I've been pretty impressed with it. Friends/rivals aren't annoying, open zones are fun enough, old mon distribution is high.

This! I have no idea what I'm supposed to do, I've tried turning a lot of factors off and on. V syinc? yeah sort of works the best I've managed to pull is 15 fps during a single cutscene with cyclizard. Honestly I don't think I want to continue playing until something gets changed.

About the cheats for encounters, if I set on the pokemon encounters, they'll appear randomly on a specific region or gonna be appearing right away where am I? Will be one or multiple of them? When are you resetting for a female? I got mine on the third or fourth try, but I was resetting *before* the cutscene where you meet Nemona.
If you're standing in front of Sprigatito and resetting, but the gender isn't changing, try checking the stats (Make a back-up save in case autosave is turned on).
Its possible that when you are given the ability to actually *choose* the starter (After the cutscene meeting Nemona) that the starters have already "rolled" their stats and gender.

It's an issue that I've had since I started using Ryujinx more than a year ago, adjusting the dead zone is something I've tried doing, both in emulator and in Ds4w, it's not an issue, whatever you think it is, it's not. It has nothing to do with the deadzone and the fact it worked for you is sheer luck of the stupid. Nothing more.

no it doesn't autoupdate, and build in OP isn't latest, use >>52110780
you don't need to install it though you just unpack it and run it so it's not like updating is a hassle.
if you set up steam shortcuts etc they will stay just replace the old files with the new files when you grab a new one.
and since you're on deck grab >>52111103 so you can use 1.5x speedhack since you'll get only get like 20fps

Makes no sense to be a NSP, it's not even out yet. NSPs are eshop dumps, unless someone converted it (and probably did a bad job since you can't get it to work). Just get a proper dump at nsw2u.com or one of the links/torrents posted there.

AMD card, for me it's same as mainline, no piss filter, no visual glitches, no invisible models, but framerate went from 8fps average to about 13fps average, so if you have a GPU better than mine, which is likely because mine is 9 years old and unsupported, you'll probably get a better performance boost.

PS2 could do normal maps but only software. But frankly. If you can run PCSX2 at native, you can run Ryujinx at native.

It's not "unlocked for use". They're two different mons. The don you have as transport will always be the transport don. The don you can use in battles needs to be captured at the bottom of the area zero.

Yes. But not at the same time, obviously.

You need a legitimate copy if you want to play on a legitimate connection. You can spoof local wireless/LAN on homebrew to play online, but you have a very small community to choose from.

Probably. I haven't tried any FTP stuff with my Switch, but you can transfer files via USB.
