I like the new characters despite the ugliness, I like riding around on my lizardbike despite the region being ugly and empty, I'm really attached to my lizardbike despite it being a stupid idea, I like the story even though it's almost nonexistent, I like catching the pokemon despite most of them being old or ugly, I like how smooth the battles are despite how easy they are
PLA felt like a step in the right direction, then when we started getting info on SV I hated everything about it. Now I can't stop playing the game. Just me, my team, my lizardbike and the vast continent. It's cozy.
My only real gripe is how shit the character customization is, face aside. And the ugly artstyle.
It's not perfect but definitely one of the better gens.
