This game was basically Persona Pokemon and it was fucking great.
Level curve was actually really good if you actually do all the paths at the same time and listen to the Pokemon center people, I was actually underleveled (not like that was a problem) for the champion fights and the final primal fight against sada had me use a revive to not get a team wipe

>actual character arcs and stories
>people treating you like a competent adult
>good rival
>didn't use the "Team"= Bad Guys gimmick, Team Star was legit a wholesome team
