I, personally, feel they did better with type combos that were already done prior, like fire/fight, water/fight, and poison/ground

Please explain, I don't recall anyone asking for a dwarf with a giant hammer.

The same for the fire warriors, but it is understood that they are the "cool" pokemon that many have been asking for
