Personally, since she’s a rapper who uses ghost types for no reason, it would have been clever if she was a horror pre rapper instead. Could have used Memphis slang and everything. Much too obscure for the average person though, never mind Japanese game developers.

I hate her design. She’s literally my mom’s granny rapper. She just doesn’t fit well with the other character designs and looks really out of place.
They can make well thought-out designs for dark-skinned characters- Lenora and Nessa immediately come to mind for me.
What about her design says “ghost gym leader”, you know? I feel like they didn’t play into that at all.
