Whoops, yeah, Ryzen 7 2700x. Using that build from yesterday. Have tried playing around with the emu settings. I had Vsync off but then the game was running at DOUBLE speed. Can't seem to find the right settings for that sweet sweet shit-ass Switch 30fps.

Is emulation very CPU dependant? I have a 6th gen i7 and I get absolute dogshit frames, gpu is 3070 so should be fine. 32GB RAM. Is my CPU just chugging the emulation?

I also passed my save file from Scarlet to Violet and back - now the only obtainable mons I am missing is Kuraidon and the two faggot starters. Could have gotten Muraidon had I known about this earlier.

Changing versions doesn't alter the data on any of your pokemon, so I don't know what makes you think that. The only illegitimate pokemon are gonna be the version exclusives.

From what I remember, previous trainers and transfer data is kept so the original mons will likely also be listed as illegitimate due to never being traded or transferred. That's assuming funny things didn't happen to Pokemon data when they were save swapped.

They won't. When you transfer your save data it remains the original version. It just gets a paint job. But either way, that guy was talking about switching versions to catch exclusives, then switching back. There's no issues.

I also really liked the throwing and catching mechanic in Legends, but yeah that one is probably impossible to implement unless someone really knows their shit.

Handheld mode at 2x is literally the only wayto play at 1440p.
Anything beyond that starts to give me frame drops.

Just write down your money or lp, then with game open hit home button, return to homescreen, then, album > edizon. Click cheats, search ram, click u32, then "=", then "heap", then type in what your money or lp was. Hit search, once it's done it'll show alot of results. Hit home button, go back into game, buy something with money if editing money, lp if editing lp. Then write that new number down, repeat process, except in edizon hit "next search". Continue till 1 result, edit that last result to 9999999. Done

Been updating Ryujinx itself with its native updates. Also tried out anon's custom applications in hopes of getting performance boosts. Updating keys or firmware wont achieve performance improvements right?

Use Yuzu Early Access builds instead of whatever the official Yuzu tells you to download. Patreon builds can be found everywhere on the internet.

This honestly.

It's fun, it's cool having a real 3D open world Pokemon adventure.

But the graphics are shit, and even when it's running 30+fp the background characters are walking around in stop motion framerate which means that shit is intentional. The open world doesn't have much, especially postgame. A ton of the Pokemon in the Dex that are technically "in the game" are just the same on-disk DLC shit that GF has always done.

I'd pay like half the price for this. It's not even as good looking or expansive as BOTW and that's a low ass bar.

Alright. I'm pretty close to this actually working. The menus display and the music plays. I can tell that the controls work, but the actual in game render of the world is completely black. Does it though? Star bases are barebones and basically 5 total battles. Other team's stories are longer and has more substance. Big pokemon are just another way to get HM's. There's no legendaries to catch.

Steamdeck uses Arch Linux, which is an operating system that runs on many desktop computers. There isn't anything particularly special about the version of Arch Linux on Steamdeck- If someone is doing something on Steamdeck, it can be done on a desktop.
You're probably using Windows though, which is fine. The program everyone uses ITT is "Ryujinx," which should work on your computer. It might not run very well though depending on how strong your hardware is. Good luck and hope you enjoy the game!

Yup. Vega 56 here. Trees, bushes, pots and a lightbulb glowing t-shirt glare. But they are mostly on the background or specific areas. Seem to get better depending the camera angle. But some outright disappear. It's annoying but otherwise, playing fine.

That is the plebbit build. Literally the EXACT same as that specific build except he didn't bump his shader cache version and appears to have intentionally omitted the file format version bump and the new config defaults.

If you experience a difference it's either because
1) You didn't enable HLE macros in the plebbit build
2) You didn't adjust the default upscaling settings
2) Dynamic PGO which can result in performance differences between runs
3) You're retarded

Looks like Ryujinx's GitHub actions uses Windows to build the Windows binaries and doesn't cross-compile so that is about the only possible explanation. Feel free to try >>52129588

For those experiencing this, try disabling HLE macros now they you're able to in the latest builds. FPS will probably tank but that may fix it since users report it doesn't happen in the official builds.

It should not. It just brings back one PR which was previously removed to see if there was a difference in the amount of explosions or performance, adds the post-processing PR, and updates the HLE PR. From what I remember, gdkchan said the HLE changes are unlikely to help anything.

Not really other than using a custom build like Delibird's. If it makes you feel better, the game runs mid 20s on hardware with common dips to mid teens.

If you want to inject Pokemon, then you use pkhex but it isn't updated yet. If you just want that pokemon to spawn then there are some cheat codes that should work on ryujinx, i think.

Encountered a weird problem. I started the game today and most of the controllers aren't working. I can move and B button apparently works, but nothing else. X, Y, the direction pad, the plus and minus buttons, nothing else. I see the controls are set in the input settings, and my controller is working fine. But nothing works in Pokemon Violet.

Well, I guess I fixed it.
I switched to OpenGL and it started working fine. Then I switched back to Vulkan and the problem went away.
Weird shit, but there we go, in case someone else has the same issue.
