The ability is honestly hilarious. It's like Game Freak suddenly realised that this thing would have to know Spore because it's a mushroom, but has 100 speed and would be utterly busted with it, so they had to give it an ability to completely kneecap the priority of its status moves to prevent this.

yes. it ignores all abilities, but not other types of protection. so it goes through Overcoat and Magic Bounce and such, but is still stopped by Grass-types, Safety Goggles, Magic Coat, Electric Terrain, etc.

Yeah, as far as its understood.
For Spore it should ignore Insomnia, Vital Spirit, Good as Gold, Purifying Salt, Sap Sipper, Wonder Skin, Overcoat, and Sweet Veil I think

Would it ignore all abilities? Mold breaker only bypasses abilities that block receiving status, but pokemon with immunity are instantly cured from poison right after, not to mention abilities like comatose ignore mold breaker.

The point is that they have no correlation to their mistaken species, so having overlapping types is stupid. Also, Grass/Poison is a dogshit typing you shouldn't wish on anything.

Grass/Poison typing gives it immunity to poison, useful resistances, no horrid 4x ice weakness and absorbs TS which is a big deal now.
