Yea yea, I'm happy Ice is getting some love. While appreciative, I have a complaint: I'm pissed they went with the common, dumb, sheeple opinion on how to improve Hail/Snow. Snow should NOT RAISE DEFENSE. That's just something autists have been parroting for years because then it would perfectly mirror Sandstorm, and autismos love having things perfectly aligned.

No. Snow should DECREASE SPEED of all non-Ice Types on the field. Not only does this make far more sense because winter weather is treacherous to navigate and slows everything down, but it it is DRAMATICALLY more helpful. It is a MISTAKE to try to patch up Ice Type's literal glass durability, it's like trying to make a baboon cute. Sure, you can make it MORE cute by giving it pretty pink bows, but the attempt is ultimately unhelpful due to the baboon being structurally unfit for this task to begin with.

You're not going to win battles by helping Ice Types be slightly better at something they will always be inferior at doing. Instead, they should have capitalized on Ice's genuine strengths. Ice is FANTASTIC offensively, and if they could reliably outspeed most opponents, holy fucking shit so many Ice Types would goddamn skyrocket up the tiers. Instantly.
