Alomomola is understandable to a degree, but Dondozo has zero fucking overlap with anything Wishcash has for its design basis outside "Catfish" and they're not even the same species of catfish or referencing the same thing with their designs.

So what's that shit on the top of his head for? I definitely KNOW I've seen those Japanese headband things tied sideways like that somewhere, but idk where. I thought maybe sushi chef, they often wear those headbands, but apparently catfish is a rather unpopular dish so that's probably not it

It isn't the same species as Whiscash. Dondozo is based on the wels catfish, the largest european freshwater fish (his shiny has the same colours as the albino Silurus). It has also shark elements in its design, you can see that it has gills and looks similar to a bloated megamouth shark.

Ignoring the fact that Dondozo doesn't even have yellow in its design unlike Whiscash, what the fuck is this mon supposed to be?
Apparently it's related to the sushi fish, but I've seen nothing about that besides anons just mentioning it, so what gives?

Tatsugiri jumps in Dondozo's mouth and gives it a +2 to all stats. Plus catfish has a signature move called Order Up that's Dragon type, 80 BP, and raises a stat depending Tatsugiri's form (Defense for Salmon, Attack for Tuna, Speed for Egg)

Yes. The boosts also remain if the suchi dies.
Say say give it a toxic orb and wait for it to die, then you get to bring a second mon in with the catfish retaining the boosts.
