Battle Frontier, Cynthia's theme, Gen 4 Starters >>> Gen 6. Sprite-work has more Sovl. Emulates better/can be ran at a reasonable speed. Winter Aesthetic is nice. The stat-trainers/escorts. Legendary build ups rather than finding Mewtwo in a cave for no discernable reason.

The only detriment would be that it lacks pla catching so it may be seen as a downgrade. Itll get low to mid 80s like every other game and be heralded as a brave step in the right direction for pokemon

This is true for shilled AAA games but when talking about games with soul (yes they still exist) 70 isn't bad by any means.
Just look at the players' reviews, they're usually a reliable indicator of the game's actual quality.

The co-op aspect or open aspect will get them a few 90s or even 95s, probably from something called Nintendo Journal or something like that, and it'll also get a few 70s, maybe 1 60 for lessons not learned from PLA, like captures, or performance issues
