SV is also an improvement over SM in terms of storyTELLING given that the player feels like a much more important subject in it, and it doesn't feel nearly as intrusive given that you actively pursue the questlines. Contrast Lillie and co wedging themselves into your adventure. Conceptually I'll always like the BW story most even if I think it falls flat in execution. In any case this is a huge improvement from SwSh, which could win an award for having so much fucking nothing relative to how in love it is with its own story and characters.
