Depends, some people like the mmo aspects of the game, the economy, the roleplay, etc

Others hate it, the level caps, the grindy nature of the game, the modifications made by the devs, etc.

You should check it out, maybe even give it a try, it wouldn't hurt IMO

It's mostly original game + online + 4 regions in one game + a bunch of QoL changes and adjustments that were made in the newer generations. The only controversial thing is the new breeding mechanic.

To play the game you need to download the client from pokemmo.eu, and you need the roms for FireRed, Emerald, Platinum, HG or SS and either Black or White. Any language is fine.

The DS roms here: https://archive.org/download/no-ndsdec2021
Download this mod for Gen 5 follower sprites too and place it in the mods folder: https://www.mediafire.com/file/hq1141vufmunxk0/Complete_PokeMMO_Follower_Sprites.mod/file
