This is the last classic Pokémon experience that we will have.
The last games without shitty gameplay experiments that no one asked for like Megas, Z-Moves, Gigantamax, Dynamax or the newest Terastallize.

At least not without a massive overhaul. They'll probably do a mix of BW and B2W2 to ensure classic mons in the roster early on.
Maybe they'll include whatever Gen 10's gimmick is, too.

But they won't be straight remakes. Not a chance.

Both games should be faithful remakes. I hope ILCA don't make the same mistake as GF developing LGPE. It was a BIG mistake to add Megas and Alola shit into Kanto.

BW remakes + non-Gen 1 - 5 content would be ruined.
Because of the fidelity to the original material, some of us consider BDSP to be the best Pokémon games on the Switch and we hope that the BW remakes follow the same style..

Honestly, I enjoyed my time with this more than SWSH. Being able to get a lot of my old bros back was cool, underground was fun. Sure, missing frontier and platinum content stung a bit but gym leader, e4 and rival rematches with full ev trained teams with perfect iv’s, competitive move sets and builds was great and is what every postgame should be like. It’s a shame it took so long for the gts to get up and running and there wasn’t a dedicated online battle mode. But rematching strong trainers and the battle tower was enough to hold me over for 150+ hours so I can’t complain.

Bumping thread with this pic of my boys. Hatched feraligatr and ttar while breeding for 6IV’s with a Japanese ditto. Both times I fell asleep while hatching eggs and woke up to my two favorite shinies. For this alone bdsp is a winner in my book.
