OP is still a child. She's coming from the adult perspective that battling is work for a goal, and chore of labor. Seeing the flame of youth enrages older people, as they have lost that same vigor.

The real pisser about that is that there are animations and scenes where they drop the chibi proportions for more standard ones, and things are suddenly good looking for just a couple seconds. Pisses me off with what could have been.

HGSS is worse. The localization is SO noticeably stiff, not an issue even with the fucking GB games which had to work with text limitations. Probably the thing that makes it the hardest to play for me.
