Honestly I've been saying for a while now that Nintendo should just acquire pokemon as a first-party property, then maybe they would actually make games that do the property justice

Nintendo's first party games aren't that good either. If they even obtain Pokemon all they'll do is shelve it like F-Zero and keep making the same Mario something game over and over again

Do they, though? Honestly, with how hard the franchise has fallen out of public image (except for shitholes like Twitter) I don't think anyone really gives a shit about it anymore. Ed Sheeran's music video got more views than the trailers for the actual game.

And it's so weird, too, because Nintendo also has the Scarlet and Violet trailers, and they barely break 5/600k views. Gamespot and IGN have this issue as well. Only one of the videos on Nintendo's channel has 1.2 million views.
What's going on? Who does it benefit to reupload the same video on multiple channels and then consistently stay below 700k views?

Is the Pokemon channel botting views?

It doesn't matter. SwoSH is one of the shittiest games I ever played , period. It was the second-best selling title for them since Red and Blue. And that's with a 60 dollar price tag.

They still make money, which makes the whole thing baffling because every switch game they have released has been unfinished and something expected from a company cutting corners to save money.
