I like the IDEA of an alternative girl with an over the top and somewhat aesthetically ugly fashion sense, but this outfit just isn’t it. The walking animation really seals the deal in stupidity too.

It kind of fits her backstory / Team Star's backstory, though. They're a bunch of misfits, loners and bullying victims who banded together. Mela is, like, a Hot Topic scene chick that all the popular girls ostracized. The arm she covers with that black elbow glove is probably covered in cutting scars.

I think she looks better than peach by a long way though.
In fact, the one thing this gen has so far is interesting female character designs.

It's just a pity how good the character designs are when the world is probably the ugliest looking thing I've seen. It looks like fucking Sims.

She’s going to be notorious among casual players who don’t look up recommended orders for objectives. Took her on after Brassius (so I guess it was my 4th objective), and I only won by going through my huge stash of healing items. Some of that was due to bad luck, but I think she might actually be the hardest Team Star member if you come underprepared. Torkoal + Drought and the Speed Boost car are dangerous.
