Gholdengo looked nice on paper with a high Sp.atk, godlike abilitiy, and Make it Rain being a 120 BP spread move, but the almost assuredly rampant Sun Teams that hit it SE, counteracting Rain Teams who prominently feature mons that resist Steel, and the definite abundance of Chien-Pao (maybe Chi-Yu too) really put a damper on its prospects now that I think about it

Really excited to see the Tailwind users diversify with Whimsicott gone and a lot of middling speed-tiers necessitating it.
Will probably mostly be Pelipper and Staraptor, but it will be cool to see some other scum rise to the surface.

I posted it in a comp thread but this is the base of what I’m going with. I’m probably going to swap Braviary for Staraptor (either one would mainly just set Tailwind but Star also has Intimidate which is rare right now from what I’ve seen). Rotom will also probably be swapped with Ceruledge to Shadow Sneak Flutter Mane out of my life. Might also swap somebody for the new psuedo to cuck opposing Sun.

Slither Wing and Volcarona overlap too many weaknesses. You could try swapping Slither Wing for Roaring Moon.
I like Staraptor over Braviary here, like your post suggests.
And maybe Rotom could be replaced by something that could help with your glaring Rock Slide weakness. Maybe a Wide Guard user.

Torkoal plus protosynthesis users will be the first thing people try. Flutter Mane is insane and so is the ground dark legendary.

TR + Sun seems like a really basic team archetype that will be solid initially.
