Most of Nintendo’s recent library along with much of their behavior in recent years is why I firmly believe this. You also can’t fucking rely on “voting with your wallet” your “vote” is in a system of universal suffrage where people for a game can “vote” as many times as they like.
The only solution is to regulate games and banning obviously incomplete games from being sold. If your game runs 20 FPS with like 7 prefabs loaded, you should not be able sell your fucking game, especially not at Sixty Fucking Dollars.
If your remake isn’t HGSS tier, it should not cost less than half the price of the original game.
If your game needs 20% of its content needed to be downloaded through a day 1 patch, it should not be released until it has most of the content back in.
All games should be available even after decades, and if you don’t want to sell it, the game is now free and open source.
ESG should be banned and Larry Fink executed publically.
Corporate bootlickers need not apply and go fuck yourself.
