Bullying story is just a pathetic attempt at a tearjerking trope.
Titans are just Totem pokemon 2.0
Medals and E4 is just same shit as always, teams and movesets in general are fucking awful in general.
Gym tests are a fucking useless chore.
World is fucking empty, and there's no true exploration since you need to unlock box legends forms to truly be able to travel everywhere.
The only somewhat tolerable point is the Crater plot, at least in Violet, dunno if it changes much in Scarlet.
For better or for worse, games are fucking short, so you at least don't waste that much time. I luckily was able to play it at 3x speed, and even then it felt like a fucking chore, I keep waiting and waiting for the game to start being 'good', and it almost became fun at the Crater plot, only to end up pushing fucking buttons and just going downward till the 'final battle'.
Also the designs this time around are plain awful, really, really bad.
I'm so glad I didn't pay for this bullshit and I pity the manchildren that preordered this piece of shit.
