Man this is just sad
I was genuinely excited for these games and was counting the days just a few weeks ago, but now...
God, this is just dissapointing
First the starter evos, but maybe they'll grow on me
Then the random poke balls, but they're small and I can ignore them
Then what looks like awkward handling, but it's ok because I'll try to stick to flat ground and won't intentionally crash into obstacles
Then the camera clipping out of bounds, but it's ok because I'll avoid battles in narrow spaces
Finally, the performance issues on OG hardware....
I can't cope anymore, I want to like Pokemon, I really do. I grew up with this franchise, but this is just so bad
When there's framerate problems, dipping to 20 and BELOW FFS, that's where I just can't cope.
Also that's when I realized I do care about the earlier problems too (except MAYBE the starter evos), it reeks of no polish, infested with bugs and glitches, and dissapointment
What a damn fucking shame, I hope they fix it, I'll at least cope with that.
But until then, I think I'm out. I've only played like 5-6 mainline and 3 spinoff pokemon titles, so I think I'll check out all the games I didn't play.
