Even his cope is wrong. PS4/Xbox can do stable 30 for games that look great. The problem is SV is ugly AND runs like shit. At least SMT5 and NMH3 looked decent while chugging dick.

XC3 looks incredible and doesn't even chug dicks that much, because it dynamically drops the resolution and uses some really good temporal upscaling to make up for it so you barely notice it.
Monolith is competent, though.

Honestly I have more frame drops in Splatoon of all things than I did in Xenoblade. I'd give anything for a Monolith Soft developed Pokemon game, imagine a region as fleshed out as fucking Aionios.

ehhh, the character models are really nice but as far as environments go I think it’s a straight downgrade over the first two games, structurally they’re fun to explore but visually they’re a downgrade and conceptually they’re much more uninspired

It's still 15fps on actual hardware? I was only getting that at best on emulator while it's usually under 10fps.

Huh. Sounds slightly better than under 10fps everywhere and 15 in less busy areas. It's one of the few times I'd look forward to 30 and that's simply because it's still better than... this.
