>>52183037They are extremely busy, its clear they wanted to focus on the mainline xenoblade games, so we got a remaster of the original and 3 instead. Nintendo also calls on them for everything... they worked on Botw, mario odessy, smash ultimate, etc and are currently helping out with Zelda ToTK and other projects we dont know about.
I Played XCX to completion. Its fun to explore and the battle mechanics from the first game were expanded upon instead of abandoned/cut like in 2. The story on the other hand is a massive blunder, the plot is intriguing and hints that there are several mysteries to uncover but the game literally ends with "this story doesnt truely have and ending" if I had to guess they dont wanna just re-release XCX, they wanna finish it.
