But it got postponed from its initially advertised summer premiere and eventually awkwardly shown around Christmas (nip Pokemon movies have used the tagline "Summer means Pokemon" for ages, they ALWAYS premiere in mid July), while the Corona pandemic was still scaring people from going to the movies. It's all just kinda tragic. The TV show has been so fucking shitty this gen some good standalone movies would've really helped.
