If you were around 8 or 9 when Red/Blue came out like I was then yes Gen 1 is forever replayable and comforting. All those memories of playing with the neighborhood kids and on the school bus, getting taught about Missingno. and it seeming like goddamn magic. It's bittersweet... such a big part of our lives, and it ended up that the developers struck gold and lucked the FUCK out with what they had.
