I don't know if it's because time feels different as you get older, but I remember it took forever to evolve Pokemon when I was young.

It evolves at lv 16 dumbass. I'm barely at the school and my Fuecoco is already lv 11 and I havent even let it roam free to battle on its own.

Yeah I am, I have no interest in mons I've already trained in past games. I can only train a fucking charizard so many times before I no longer want one, but I prefer it because this is the first Pokemon game I'm playing where I'm strictly going for the mons I like instead of comp or simply boredom. I dont even have a full team yet cause I'm being extremely picky about my team.

Its probably because the world is so open now that leveling up fast is impossible. You can fucking go catch mons at 40 right out the gate so the gains have to be big to let your mons catch up in whatever region you go. Some crazy fuckers actually went after the 4 guardians on day 1 and I simply dont want that smoke yet.

Same, my duck evolved really quickly. I like quaxwell a lot but I'm not sure about quaquaval's animations (design is neat though.) Oh well I have plenty of time to make my decision I guess
