They wanted a school setting to teach normalfags about the game mechanics instead of the traditional way where an NPC interrupts you on your adventure to give a tutorial in how the game works game but remembered no one wants to sit through a fucking class, the very last thing kids want to do when playing vidya so they made it extremely optional while you go on your treasure hunt.

It's utterly half-baked, you can see how colorful the teachers aee but they barely do anything, it's as if they dropped the school halfway and decided to focus on everything else.

After the Gym rematch, you enter the school tournament and win. Then you talk to all of your friends until you can unlock their room. Its so persona like but the reward is going to their room. It also add more character to each of your friends.

It’s the same as college ngl.

The only difference here is GF won’t let go of having every MC be children despite a lot of 18-20 something players and that being a huge Switch demo.

So it seems like it’s supposed to be like a private middle school or something because you play as a kid. They needed to make up their fucking minds and just pick one idea of what the school was supposed to be.

Is this baby’s first boarding school, or a university? If the former, then MC makes sense but not some of the classmates and a lot of the logic of the school. If the latter, could we just get the ability to choose to play as a kid or someone older finally? Hell some kids probably think older characters are cooler and would pick them too.
