We only ever had L after L.
The games are so bad that the previous one actually looks better when at the time of its release we wondered “how could it get worse” and gamefreak always went “wait and see”.

This board is literally the worst place to look for actual opinions on anything Pokémon. With anonymity basically encouraging people to be the biggest assholes they can be, it becomes impossible to distinguish who genuinely has issues and who is just shitposting just for the sake of it. I was satisfied with every game until USUM.
I even liked Sun and Moon on the initial playthrough, though I probably couldn’t ever do it again with all the railroading and dialogue.

BW release was legitimately the most fun. BW2 had some negatives (namely dividing the 3rd version/Grey into two games) but this was immediately squashed by the fact they were sequel games tied to the story. XY started the downfall when over 10% became disenfranchised with the series. Sword/Shield is probably when it went over 50%, because it became much harder to cope and defend a multibillion dollar franchise for cutting out half the Pokedex. SV being a buggy mess, along with the other shit, is all so tiresome to see from devs that should know better now
