Even if I was obsessed with Kanto, these games take it to such an extreme. Some guy just shows up and is like "hey i'm from KANTO check out my KANTO store i sell KANTO goods whoa!!!"
Is this exciting? Do people really cream their pants over this??? Does this make more sales? Did it make more sales for the intro to notably show tauros fighting muk? Or the fact Lille was going to Kanto in Sun/Moon, or the "most popular pokemon in galar" poster showing charizard, machamp, and gengar?
At least this game doesn't seem as pathetic with the pandering as Sword/Shield was but god, really takes you right out of the immersion
