Just reached Cascarrafa Town in S/V

Anyone else get major Colosseum vibes? The music, The oasis before a desert... Just beating a bunch of Team star Grunts?

I'm thinking a Colosseum remake in S/V's engine would be pretty fucking Kino

Glad I'm not the only one to think Colo and GoD are deserving of remakes this gen. Riding around an open Orre region on my weird hover motorcycle/moped would be awesome. The only question is how it'd be even made. Orre is canonically a barren wasteland which doesn't make for very interesting content in an open world game. Honestly they could probably fill out the desert with snagem goons hunting you down since you blew up their base and with GoD they can do wild Pokemon or something. Idk though, if it happens, I'd be interested to see how they handle it.

Paldea's towns and regions all deserve praise...save for the fact that there's no fucking interiors. They feel a lot more lived in and lively, and Mesagoza would be the best pokemon city since Lumiose if there were actual content and npc buildings to explore instead of just sandwich menus

you're the zoomer if you cant tell the difference between gen 5 and gen 6. unova wasnt great but still good enough compared to the crap we get now. colosseium and gale of darkness were at least respectable for non-mainline games while gen 6 and later are pretty offensive to the franchise as a whole
