>>52234176Because they aren't true fans, they are pseudo-fans who pretend to "advocate for Pokémon, criticize it for its own sake" wanting to inject non-Pokémon elements into it (like degenerates who put pineapple on pizza because they don't enjoy the authentic flavor) and denigrating or spreading hate on everything from the main titles and their creator studio, which isn't giving constructive criticism, it's giving destructive criticism.
They are 'fans' who only got hooked on the first games, and then they didn't like the essential formula of Pokémon, which is its simple and addictive RPG system/Metagame.
That's why they hate Pokémon in their core and foundation, and they want to force things that are not their own, like action RPG battles or open worlds, all under the insatiable whim of "innovation, if the game doesn't change all the time then it's bad".. That itself made Zelda shit on its magical and functional formula to establish a system that almost seems alien to what several previous titles were.
It really makes me laugh all those pokétubers influencers who call themselves 'lovers' of the saga when every time a main title comes out what they do is release the same verbiage of: "Pokémon is always the same, it must change", "The developers are some are useless, another studio would do it better"
Seriously, if they don't like the essence of Pokémon why do they dedicate themselves to it? And if they are going to disrespect the developers who are the ones who created that essence and are the ones who know how to maintain/renew it, then don't talk about Pokémon.
