I bought this game, because I played it emulated first and kind of liked it. One thing I realized that functionally changes the game is that on the switch, pokemon will literally not load in before you ride past them because it takes too long. You have to stop to see anything. On emulator pokemon actually load in correctly... and the textures are way higher resolution. I think that's why a lot of people on the boards liked the game before release, it literally is better emulated.
