Modern Pokemon games embody wasted opportunity and laziness, get used to it. So long as they keep making billions every year off of shit games they'll keep doing it because why wouldn't they?
If you want quality/soul look at gen1-5 or play romhacks/fan games. Gamefreak is not going to change their design philosophy due to people shitposting, they need to see reduced sales or lower profits before they even consider putting effort into games anymore.

Make them speak Simlish or Animal Crossing or something. Having no speech of any kind is really weird when they keep making performers like Piers and Ryme. Piers's silent concert was a fucking travesty and they did it not once but twice.

I feel like I'm watching a mime show when I see SV cutscenes, they are fully rendered with cinematic shots, people are flapping their gums and talking but they're just in silence. Looks jarring and stupid. That worked for sprites not for 3D models

At least make them speak gibberish if you want bone-chilling, spine-tingling, cinematic atmospheric cutscenes with no jumpscares

Personally I'm more upset the Dunkleosteus pokémon was wasted on those awful fossils

I have a sliver of hope that maybe one day GF will see Relicanth over there with that placoderm-esque body armor and give a Dunk-based evolution but I'm not holding my breath
