Will Emerald’s Battle Frontier ever be topped in terms of Post Game AI battle content?

Emeralds Battle Frontier was so fucking sick. Even if most of the facillities were just filler and gimmicks. I don't care. It felt like a really cool Pokemon Battle centric theme park/resort.

They can barely develop a game that plays the main campaign from start to finish without falling apart, look around you right now. Postgame content is now a distant memory.

When I was a little kid, I always loved imagining that going to the Battle Fronteir was like going to Disneyland. Really cool themed buildings/props everywhere, lots of music playing, long lines to get into the battle areas, big crowds.etc Now I'm sad because I know GF is never going to do something like that ever again. The Battle Frontier felt like a well earned fucking reward for completing the Pokemon League.

No. Gen 4's frontier wasn't as good, and while I like BW2's offerings, they're not as good for people who care about streaks. The PWT having a sort of "set" difficulty means no "filler" battles like every battle before the Frontier Brain fight is nice, but it also means that you would really only want to play World Leaders or Champions circuits.

Yeah, it was topped in Plat, and then again in HGSS and BW2. Emerald Battle Frontier is overrated af, 5 out of the 7 facilities are basically slot machines and the streak requirements for symbols are insane considering the sheer amount of uncompetitive shit like Double Team spam floating about. It's telling that the only facility from the Emerald Frontier that came back in the future was Battle Factory. Emerald also has basically no other post game besides the Battle Frontier besides hunting the legends and Steven so if you don't like Emerald Frontier there's not much there

BW2 gives you the global tournament mode to refight trainers from the entire history of pokemon up towards that point. Also expanded forest/city stuff compared towards 1. Only thing you can't do is take advantage of dream world anymore.

It's incredible how many mainstay features have just been ignored. I wasn't expecting another Battle Frontier, but there isn't even a Battle Tower anymore.
