>>52230869Surely you were voicing your concern over humanoid Pokemon since gen 1 then, right? The Machop line, Hitmonchan, Jynx, Mr. Mime, even Hypno are all pretty humanoid. That's almost 5% of the entire generation as humanoid Pokemon without even counting ones you could make an argument for being somewhat humanoid. If we take the game literally and only look at Pokemon that fall under the human-like egg group the numbers for each generation are as follows:
>gen 1: 14, Abra line, Machop line, Drowzee line, Hitmonlee, Hitmonchan, Mr. Mime, Jynx, Electabuzz, Magmar>gen 2: 1, Hitmontop>gen 3: 13, Ralts line, Makuhita line, Sableye, Meditite line, Volbeat, Illumise, Spinda, Cacnea line>gen 4: 11, Chimchar line, Buneary line, Lucario, Croagunk line, Electivire, Magmortar, Gallade>gen 5: 14, Timburr line, Throh, Sawk, Gothita line, Elgyem line, Mienfoo line, Pawniard line>gen 6: 3, Pancham line, Hawlucha>gen 7: 0>gen 8: 10, Scorbunny line, Toxtricity, Clobbopus line, Impidimp line, Mr. Rime>gen 9: 4, Charcadet line, KingambitSurprisingly gen 1 is tied with gen 5 for the most Human-Like Pokemon which makes sense as gen 5 introduced the most of any other generation. Gen 4 has a lot due to the cross gen evos adding on 3 to its numbers, and gen 7, the one that arguably gets the most flak for Incineroar, has no Human-Like Pokemon. Gen 3 is a strange case as the Ralts line was retroactively added to the Human-Like group in gen 8, but even removing that line it still comes up to 10.
