Team seems (unintentionally) well balanced, nice mix of types.

It felt weird not having a Rock or Ground type on the team. No one really fits the bill, but I suppose Garganacl (or maybe Solrock) is probably the best option

Is Furfrou in S/V? or just 'if you could use everyone' type of deal?
Honestly I figured Furfrou's never coming back as Gamefreak can't be bothered for the styling anymore.

True enough its the main influence, but I feel it worth considering because of Sobek (Egyptian Crocodile God), and how Nile Crocodiles and Egyptian Plover birds have a symbiotic relationship. Sobek has also been depicted as Sobek-Ra, basically a fusion of him and Ra the Sun god.

Depends on how far you want to bend your own rules though.

I was considering a shared gold/red/black color scheme team
(Armarouge / Vespiquen / Falinks) but ended up just focusing on finishing the game first. Maybe I'll revisit it in post-game.
