It's a flagship title so they probably are going to make an effort to improve the performance. I doubt anyone at Game Freak is happy with the state they shipped it in.

I just wonder what the fuck happened internally for the game to perform like this, when Arceus was a reasonably polished game. I don't mean graphical fidelity, I mean that going into and out of battle was seamless, and cutscene transitions were flawless.

Yeah, if you add dungeons, puzzles, secrets, pokemon in the right habitat who interact with the environment and between them (Seviper and Zangoose who fight, bird pokemon who catch Wurmple and Magikarp ecc), an fucking art style, and change almost all the new mons because are fucking shit and add al the old mons, a fucking postgame not locked behind a paywall. Then maybe it could be the best
