Thats what the shiny is, instead of a blue shirt it has a cream coloured shirt.

Shinies in Scarlet/Violet are genuinely anxiety inducing because shit is constantly spawning all around me and it might be a shiny, but there's no fucking way to tell aside from battling it.

They could have at least put a little star next to the name in battle, or when you lock on to it and it shows the name or something.
I'm fucking certain I've just ran past multiple shinies at this point, and I hate it.

Half of the dex is so insanely subtle, I can barely spot the difference between most of the new mons and their shiny version even when I have the pictures side by side

This. Modt of the new mons only have a part of them being shiny and not the whole fucking mon. Catching a shiny Tandemaus or Bramblin seems impossible unless you go through it with a fine toothed comb.

I JUST fucking noticed that they have clothes on right before I made this thread, I've spent like 3 days trying to figure out what the difference between them was, or if I was being trolled and it wasn't actually a picture of the shiny.

Gamefreak is just being mean on purpose with this shit
