You could grab a bunch of texture files from this game and from botw and present them in a blind test to these people complaining about how bad the graphics are, and i guarantee they would get a bunch of them wrong.

I'd say so. I'm at 12 hours without a single Gym badge. I've beaten all of the Titans and a handful of Team Star. The gyms will probably be piss easy by the time I beat all of Star but I prefer that over being railroaded by the game

I noticed people complaining about glitches seem to post the same ones over and over so I've been wondering how many people will actually run across them. Like when Sh/Sw came out there were loads of complaints at start including videos of the game bricking some dude's Switch only to come out that there were other issues going on with those people's hardware and most players had no problems.
I'll have the game for myself soon enough but my friend's been playing it over the weekend and hasn't mentioned any issues.

I've been playing it the past day and a half and all I've encountered is minor camera bugs. It really feels like a dash of emulator bullshit mixed with typical twitter outrage for upvotes or whatever. Maybe I'm wrong though.

BotW looks like shit too. The effects are nice and the draw distance is amazing, but I attribute that to how cheap the models themselves are. S/V has none of that and is still a buggy mess.
