Yes GF is going to make a public apology surprisingly enough, since TPCI/Nintendo forced them to.
Also Surprisingly TPCI/Nintendo also forced them to GF put an extra year into their projects that aren't DLC so this would never happen again, as the negative press is too much for TPC right now. (Gen 10 and the new unova sequels got an extra year of devtime.)
Graphical Glitch Fix/Performance/Bugfix Patch coming within the next month or two, should at least fix the graphical issues and the performance should be stablized as well as fixing the dreaded memory leak in the game itself.
You should get a public statement from GF and TCPI soon, have fun watching this chaos unfold.
