there's a difference between restricting movesets and just outright removing moves that nobody would ever think of using outside of niche shit
i wanted a scizor with venoshock but they removed it's ability to learn venoshock for literally no reason when it's been able to learn it since it was introduced

my idea was technician scizor with venoshock and being terra poison, coming in after a glimmora with focus sash has put up layers of toxic spikes, technician improving on an already very high base power since the opponent's mons would be poisoned upon switch
i mean yeah, it's not the best strategy but it would be fun to see it play out because i would take anything over having to relive the end of S/S meta of another longtime with just fucking groudon/kyogre all over again
